CSA Baskets

CSAs were orginally formed as way for farmers to market their product and bring in an income at times when there is little income to be found on the farm.  And subsequently a time when there is a lot of outlay on the farm to puchase supplies for the coming growing season.  Most CSAs work with the premis that you recieve a certain number of baskets for your subscription.  They are  filled every week by the farmer and delivered to a specific drop off spot.
We started out that way and still do a few CSA subscriptions that way every year.  But for the most part we have given our CSA subscriptions a twist.  Farmers markets.  Our main pickup location is the Molalla Farmers Market on Thursday.  Having a market pickup gives you a much larger time frame to pick up your basket and also allows you to customize most all of your basket to fit your needs.  Every basket will contain greens, lettuce/salad (except n the hot part of the summer) and fresh herbs.  After that you choose every other item in your basket from the array of produce and other products we carry at the market.
We will be adding a secondary location in the Oregon City area.  I will be at that location (to yet be determined) for an hour window for pickup.   This will also be a market style pickup where you can shoose the items for your baskets.  There will also be additional produce to purchase.   Baskets will be put together by preorder.  You will have an availability list sent to you every week.

Below are some basket examples, and approximate times for when we have produce ready.
Every Share will get 2 pumpkins  along with gourds and cornstalks for decorating.  If the weather has been mild and we still have crops growing we will include a few vegetables in a winter basket which can be picked up at the farm during our U-cut season.
